WHAT YOU GET

Exact printing, raw and graded prices.

Magic has more reprints than any other game, and the printing is the price. A Black Lotus from Alpha, Collector's Edition and the 30th Anniversary Edition are three different markets; a retro-frame or foil-etched version of a modern staple can be worth several times the regular printing. Snap Card reads the set symbol, collector number and treatment from your photo so it matches the exact card.

The result shows the raw market price built from recent sales, with 90-day price history and a list of recent comps. Where a card has an active graded market — mostly Reserved List and vintage staples — PSA 9 and PSA 10 prices appear alongside the raw price.

Add your binder to a collection and Snap Card tracks the total value every day, which is the fastest way to see which cards to move before rotation or a reprint announcement.

QUESTIONS

Magic: The Gathering scanning, answered

Does it identify the exact printing of a Magic card?
Yes. Set, collector number, frame (regular, retro, borderless, showcase) and foil treatment are all part of the identification, because they decide the price. The result names the printing so you can confirm it.
Does it show prices for foils and special treatments?
The price shown belongs to the printing that was identified, including foil and extended-art variants where those are catalogued separately.
Are graded MTG prices shown?
Where a card has a graded market, PSA 9 and PSA 10 prices appear next to the raw price. For most modern Magic cards there is no meaningful graded market, so you will see the raw price and its history.
Can I scan cards in sleeves?
Yes. Cards can be scanned sleeved, at an angle or still in the binder page. If a glare hides the set symbol, move the card slightly and scan again.
Does it work for Commander decks and bulk?
You scan one card at a time and add each to a collection, which then tracks the total value daily. There is no batch scan mode, so it is best for pricing the cards that matter rather than thousands of commons.
